Tub Cement Board Interface
When doing a Tadelakt tub surround, how are people handling getting the finished plaster to within an eighth of an inch of the tub and over the built up tub lip? I was going to fur out the studs and hang the cement board over the built up edge of the tub. Anyone have a better solution or any insights to share.
Thanks all

Surface Preparation on Wood
Hey! Just wondering what you guys recommend for surface prep on Wood. For example, a range hood made out of OSB, MDF or Wood panels/sheets. Does the material matter, in the sense if the glue will dis-color the plaster over time(Would you not recommend one of them ever)? Is the approach the same for preparing the Surface or dependent on which one you're using? Is there a unique protocol to each? I know you guys would prefer to clad it with sheetrock on top but is there anything else?
Thanks!!!

What material to use for Sample Boards?
What material you guys recommend to use for sample boards if I've got a bit of left over plaster to use from a project and wanna make sample? Any material you recommend that's sturdy that can hold the blends while exchanging hands a lot?
Thanks!

Plaster over OSB?
Hi all!
I have a client who has painted OSB hung as the wall surface in her studio. She has inquired about having plaster done as a finish but would prefer not to have to remove the OSB. To my knowledge wood is not an ideal substrate for plastering onto. Is the only option here to have drywall hung over the OSB? Any advice would be appreciated, open to creative solutions here.
Thanks!

Sample boards
When making sample boards for the classic and refined blends - do you recommend doing the standard Heritage base coat and then the final coats, or can you expedite the process by applying the final coats directly over the primer w/ aggregate?
